KIM'S HOMEPAGE

Well, I've finally gotten around to updating this page.  The original idea, of course, was to use this as a source for my family tree information.  Unfortunately, some nasty distant relatives caused problems and so that plan ended.  During this upcoming year, however, I do plan to reintroduce some of my ancestors to the web.  In the meantime, if you've ever heard about Samuel BEECHER (born 1784 in Connecticut, died 10/1850 in Pennsylvania), please let me know.

This site has evolved into a sort of bookmarks page for me.  Cemeteries in the United States is my original contribution to the web and the rest of the links are to sites that have been incredibly useful to me or are somehow related to my past.

IT'S ALL RELATIVE - PAST EDITIONS

Cemeteries of the United States - This site is infrequently updated, but has useful information. It is organized by state and county.

Ancestors of Maymie Mary Caza - She is my great-grandmother.  Her tree dates to the early 16th century and includes the surnames CARTIER, CAZA, COTE, DUPUIS, LANGLOIS, LEBEAU, LEBLANC, LOUSCHE, MARTIN, MERCIER, MILLET, and RIVARD.

Ancestors of George Conrad Schmidt - This is my husband's great-grandfather.  His tree dates to the 16th century and includes the surnames BAUMGARTNER, ENSER, KOCH, KRAFFT, MAIR, MEYER, ROTT, SCHMID/SCHMIDT, SCHWAB, WEGENER and WINTER.

The Minnesota Historical Society

The US GenWeb Project

       The Minnesota GenWeb Project

The Tombstone Transcription Project - This site was created with the eventual goal of containing tomstone transcriptions for each cemetery in the country.  If you don't find a link to a particular county on my site, try here.

Family Tree Maker Online - I use Family Tree Maker, version 9.0, and can't imagine research without it. FTMOnline has classifieds, message boards, personal homepages, as well as information about their various products.

No genealogy website would be complete without a link to Cyndi Howell's List of Genealogy Sites.

Another helpful site is Elizabeth T Orsay's Vital Records Information - United States, which lists addresses and telephone numbers, as well as prices, procedures, and available information.

IT'S ALL RELATIVE - CURRENT EDITION

Jeff Engelhardt's HomePage - Jeff is my husband, the former Senior UNIX/Network Systems Administrator at Gustavus Adolphus College. His website includes links for Linux stuff, golf stuff, the Dilbert Zone, and quite a few recipe/cooking sites, but is insanely old.

Liam's HomePage - Liam is our 2 year old son. Be prepared to see a lot of pictures.

Cole's HomePage - Cole is our newborn son. Be prepared to see a lot of pictures.

Sadie's HomePage - Sadie is our golden retriever/collie mix.  She wanted to have her own place online, too.

Jason Beecher Photography - Jason is my brother and an amateur photographer. His website displays some of his best pictures of national parks, sunrises and sunsets, and Boulder, Colorado.
